Behavioral Health Services of Pickens County is now accepting applications for a full-time Master’s level Clinical Counselor, with licensure preferred, to provide advanced therapeutic services, including facilitating a men and women’s domestic violence batterer’s intervention program. Other duties include completing biopsychosocial assessments, providing individual therapeutic services, case management, facilitating group sessions and coordinating care with referral sources.
This position requires a Master's degree in counseling or related area and extensive counseling experience; S.C. State licensure to provide counseling services preferred; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Applicants must be eligible to be certified as an Addictions Counselor in South Carolina and have some flexibility in regards to schedule worked and populations served. The salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
